Membership Categories
- Charter Members – Include
the founding entities that have paid the Charter Member
fee prior to September 1, 2007 and remain in good stating.
The initial Charter Members may elect successor or additional
Charter Members, provided that the number of Charter Members
shall not exceed five (5). Members must become AIP certified
within two years of joining.
- Active Members – Include
businesses in the information security industry, including
records management, records destruction and related records
security fields. Members must become AIP certified within
two years of joining.
- Associate Members – Include
those businesses, organizations and individuals that provide
products or services to the information security industry.
- Affiliate Members – Include
trade association of industries similar to or closely associated
with AIP’s purposes and activities as deemed by the
Board of Directors.
